PT Sewu Segar Primatama, through the Re.juve trademark, continues to prioritize food safety, which is now increasingly proven by its achievement as the first True Cold Pressed company to be ISO 22000:2018 certified in Indonesia.

ISO 22000:2018 is an international standard that specifies requirements for food safety management systems. This certificate provides assurance that a company has implemented an effective system for identifying, measuring and controlling food risks in its production process. By having an ISO 22000:2018 certificate, it is an important step in providing assurance that a product is safe for consumption.
Since its founding in 2014, Re.juve has realized that food safety is an important factor that must be maintained in producing quality True Cold-Pressed Juice. Based on information from the World Health Organization (WHO), as many as 70% of cases of food poisoning and diarrhea are caused by bacterial and viral contamination. For this reason, Re.juve always maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the production area.

“In the midst of the proliferation of cold-pressed juice brands emerging, of course consumers need to know which products are truly safe for consumption. Moreover, fresh products such as cold-pressed drinks require special attention in the production to distribution process, and we are proud that towards Re.juve’s 10th year, we have been able to obtain ISO 22000:2018 certification for True Cold-Pressed facilities which shows our commitment to maintain product quality and safety for the Indonesian people,” explained Richard Anthony, CEO & President Director of Re.juve.

More than that, Re.juve processes all beverage products at the True Cold-Pressed Facility (CPF) Production Center which is integrated with High Pressure Processing (HPP) technology, namely high pressure technology reaching 6,000 bar or the equivalent of 60 km below sea level. uses cold water to deactivate dangerous microorganisms in fresh food and beverage products, so that they are much safer to consume without changing the taste, aroma or nutrients in them. This technology also helps in extending the shelf life of Re.juve products.

ISO 22000:2018 certification ensures that Re.juve is monitored by strict procedures to maintain the cleanliness of equipment, production rooms and all staff who handle the production process. This certainly helps prevent cross contamination and ensures that Re.juve products are always safe in the hands of consumers.

With a collaborative spirit, Sunpride carries the theme “Sharing Energy for the Country” and carries out sustainable activities that have a positive impact on the entire community in Madura Village, Wanareja District, Cilacap Regency (2/12).

The activity began with an initiative to improve the welfare of farmers, namely by conducting free medical check-ups for local farmers. CEO of PT SSN, Cindyanto Kristian, said “Sunpride, one of the flagship brands of the Great Giant Foods (GGF) umbrella brand business unit, is celebrating the historic moment of its 28th anniversary with enthusiasm. We believe that the success achieved is not only ours, but a responsibility to give back to the community, especially in Cilacap Regency. We have designed a series of activities as an opportunity to shape a better future together.”

Sunpride will carry out social activities by distributing agricultural equipment, such as tractors and spray equipment. This demo plot aims to be a forum for various technologies regarding organic, sustainable and environmentally friendly farming, with LOB having the function of increasing crop yields, reducing the use of chemical fertilizers, and improving soil conditions.

PT GGL Receives a Visit from NTCA Australia Guests

PT Great Giant Livestock (PT GGL) received a visit from Northern Territory Cattlemen’s Association Inc (NTCA) Australia. This visit was carried out with the aim of understanding further the process of raising Australian Brahman Cross BX cattle carried out by PT GGL. The NTCA group was received by the Head of Dairy Farm & Breedlot, Yuliantoni Queen, along with staff at the Great Giant Foods (GGF) Training Center Building, on Friday (10/11).

The NTCA is the highest primary industry body in the Northern Territory representing more than 90% of the region’s livestock industry, from small family farms and indigenous companies to large corporate entities. As the cattle producers’ association in Australia’s Northern Territory, the NTCA has a mission to promote and protect the interests of cattle producers in the Northern Territory.

“Our job is to support, protect and advance the farming community for the benefit of livestock producers and to secure investment in targeted industries to enable the protection and development of cattle and meat markets in the Northern Territory,” said Jeo Marz of the Northern Territory Government.

NTCA is interested in further understanding the rearing process carried out by PT GGL, considering that the Australian Brahman Cross BX cattle kept in the PT GGL feedlot and livestock farming communities in Australia experience different treatment so that their growth and development are different. NTCA Australia recognizes that cattle raised in PT GGL feedlots have faster growth and development compared to cattle raised on smallholder farms in Australia.

Yuliantoni Queen explained that this was due to the fact that the cattle kept in the PT GGL feedlot received feed in the form of calculated concentrates and forages, as well as an environment that was well conditioned according to their needs. This is different from cattle raised on smallholder farms in Australia which only receive minimal feed, such as concentrates available on the market.
