PT Great Giant Pineapple (GGP) Attends the Release of Indonesian Health Survey Enumerators

PT Great Giant Pineapple (PT GGP), Central Lampung, fulfilled the invitation of the Central Lampung Regency Government at the Indonesian Health Survey (SKI) Enumerator Release event in Central Lampung Regency, Thursday (10/8).

The release of the SKI enumerators was carried out by the Regional Secretary of Central Lampung Nirlan, followed by handing over scarves to representatives of the event participants for the Release of Enumerators and Field Organizing of the Indonesian Health Survey in Central Lampung Regency in 2023.

It is important to note that enumerators are field officers who assist the survey team in collecting data. This data will make it easier for survey teams and research teams to obtain accurate results.

The event was also attended by the Regional Secretary of Central Lampung, Head of the Central Lampung Health Service, Head of BAPPEDA, Heads of Central Lampung District, Heads of Community Health Centers throughout Central Lampung, Village Heads in 6 Census Block Areas, PT Great Giant Pineapple Representatives and Representatives, and PT Gunung Madu Plantations.

“I appeal to all related elements to provide support from top to bottom to maximize the SKI program so that the data obtained is valid and accurate. “SKI is a form of community service,” he appealed.

The Indonesian Health Survey event is very important and strategic in order to see real conditions in the field. Accurate data from SKI activities is used as consideration for making future policies, he emphasized further.

The results of the SKI become the basis and policy for regional health development and are part of the Ministry of Health’s health studies and research which aims to assess the health status and nutritional status of the people of Central Lampung, the community development index of Central Lampung Regency, and an overview of national health problems. “SKI is implemented in 30 sub-districts, 35 health centers, 74 villages, 700 survey blocks. “With funding sources from the Ministry of Health’s APBN, it will be implemented from August 10 to October 10 2023,” said Otniel.

Celebrating the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, Great Giant Foods Lampung Employees Hold a Flag Ceremony

In celebrating the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Employees of Great Giant Foods (GGF) Lampung took part in a flag ceremony, Thursday (17/8).

The ceremony was held at the GGF Central field. The ceremony was carried out by the Security Unit (Satpam). the ceremony went smoothly and solemnly. Participants in the ceremony were all employees and students from schools supported by GGF, including the Bustanul Ulum Terbanggi Besar Islamic School, the Terbanggi Besar Xaverius School Foundation, and the integrated state school at the GGF Employee Housing Complex, Lempuyang Bandar.

Technical Advisor for Plantation and R&D Fauzan was the supervisor at this year’s ceremony wearing traditional Javanese clothing.

In the speech delivered by the supervisor of the ceremony, it was emphasized that the celebration of the 78th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia coincided with the implementation of the 2024 democratic election party. Fauzan invited everyone to maintain a conducive atmosphere both within the company and in the environment where we live. Sincerely, he invited the spirit of independence that we celebrate to also be reflected in the way we interact and maintain harmony amidst normal differences of opinion. Together we create an atmosphere that supports positive development, both for organizations and society in general.

Not only that, in the message he delivered as the ceremony supervisor, Fauzan emphasized that the company was facing serious challenges due to the global climate phenomenon El Nino. This phenomenon could potentially reduce production due to dry weather and high temperatures.

“Apart from preparing irrigation needs for plants optimally and being a motivation to preserve the environment, we use it as the only natural resource that the company has,” he said.

Continuing his speech, Fauzan emphasized that as a company that has implemented a circular economy, where the waste produced has been converted into products with economic value, and most of it is returned to nature, it will certainly be more efficient and have a meaningful impact.

An unforgettable Independence Day celebration has graced the atmosphere of Great Giant Foods (GGF) this year. In the spirit of patriotism and togetherness, GGF employees and management commemorated the 78th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence which was celebrated at Sequis Tower, Tuesday (15/8).

The event, which was carried out with great enthusiasm, became an unforgettable moment. That morning, the atmosphere of joy and emotion was palpable when the national anthem “Indonesia Raya” began to be sung together by all employees led by Viasido Sarumpaet, Manager of HR Compliance.

All employees from various departments gathered enthusiastically, wearing red and white themed clothes. The event was enlivened by competitions such as eating crackers, ball relay, ball grabbing and money scooping.

The series of events didn’t just stop there. The speech session delivered by the President Director of GGF, Tommy Wattimena, about the meaning of independence and our role in maintaining the integrity of the nation was a profound moment. Not to forget, the tumpeng cutting ceremony represented by the Directors expressed gratitude and hope for the freedom that had been achieved.

The excitement peaked when the winners were announced and prizes were awarded, starting from the group that won the competition to the employees who wore the best red and white clothes. The event closed with a lunch together which strengthened bonds between employees, creating a warm and intimate work environment.
