PT Great Giant Livestock (GGL) Implements Matching Fund Program – Kedaireka

In connection with the implementation of downstream innovation adoption activities, PT Great Giant Livestock (PT GGL) and the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) coordinated and socialized the Matching Fund (MF) – Kedaireka FY 2023 program, Monday (10/7).

The activity took place at the Great Giant Foods (GGF) Training Center, which was attended by Head of the Kedaireka IPB Matching Fund Team Agik Suprayogi, Head of the Plantation, Livestock and Fisheries Service Krisna Rajasa, Dept. Head of GGL PIR Operations Asep Aria.

Krisna Rajasa hopes that with the three existing pillars, PT GGL, IPB, and the Central Lampung Regency Plantation, Livestock and Fisheries Service, the development of the People’s Animal Husbandry School (SPR-IPB) in Central Lampung Regency in the MF-Kedaireka program for Fiscal Year 2023 can run smoothly.

The Kedaireka program is the latest solution in realizing easy synergy of higher education contributions with partner commercialization for the progress of the Indonesian nation, which is in line with the vision of the Independent Campus of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.

“The MF-Kedaireka program is here to accelerate the need to build innovation collaboration between University People and Partners from the Business and Industrial World (DUDI),” said Agik Suprayogi.

Agik Suprayogi emphasized that the Kedaireka IPB Matching Fund Team created a model for downstreaming higher education innovation for the community and farmers. So the results of higher education research must be immediately downstream to society so that it has a high socio-economic impact.

The principle is to share roles and responsibilities between 4 institutional pillars, namely IPB, PT GGL, Central Lampung Regency Government, and SPR IPB Farmers in carrying out the downstreaming and adoption of innovations to smallholder breeders through the SPR IPB institutional platform.

Plantation Group 4 Elephant Security Team Conducts Training on Handling Wild Elephants
