GGF Gives Basic Food to Locals

Great Giant Foods (GGF), Terbanggi Besar, provided basic food assistance in the form of rice to the community around the company’s operational area. The assistance provided is a form of the company’s concern for the surrounding community during the Covid-19 pandemic. The assistance of 100 bags of rice in 10 kg packages was given in Tanjung Ratu Ilir Village, Way Pengubuhan District, Central Lampung Regency. The assistance was received directly by the Head of Tanjung Ratu Ilir Village, Samsuri on Friday, March 11, 2022.

Social care as a form of CSR assistance is expected to help and ease the burden on the community. GGF, represented by the Head of CRD Division, Erwin Anang, said that the distribution of basic food assistance is nothing but a form of the company’s concern and concern for the community around the company’s operational areas.

“We hand over the food aid directly to the community through the village head,” said Erwin.

In the future, he hopes that GGF and the community can support each other side by side so that business activities and community activities can both run well as they have been running so far, he continued.

As is known, assistance in the form of basic necessities has also previously been distributed to the community through the Beguwai Wawai Terbanggi Besar youth organization. GGF Distributes CSR Programs for Mosques and Islamic Boarding Schools

Great Giant Foods (GGF), Terbanggi Besar, Central Lampung, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program distributed assistance in the form of cement materials for the construction of mosques and Islamic boarding schools (Ponpes). Assistance in the form of cement for the construction of the Al-Qur’an Memorizing Dormitory Building at Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School in Yukum Jaya Village, Terbanggi Besar District and the construction of the Nurussalam Mosque in Bandar Agung Village, Terusan Nunyai District, each received 50 sacks of assistance.

CSR assistance was symbolically handed over by GGF Corporate Relations Development Staff Agustian to the Chairman of the Nurussalam Parayitno Mosque construction committee at the mosque construction site on Monday, March 7, 2022. This cement assistance will be used to continue the completion of the mosque terrace which is still under construction.

According to Agustian, the provision of CSR is in line with social responsibility and company policies to the community.

“This CSR program can help continue the construction of the mosque so that later it can be used by more Muslims who worship at the Nurussalam Mosque,” said Agustian.

Prevent Covid-19, GGF Performs Disinfectant Spraying and Fogging

Great Giant Foods (GGF) Terbanggi Besar, Central Lampung, continues to make efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the company’s operational environment by spraying disinfectants and fogging. The activity of spraying disinfectant was again carried out by GGF in Hamlet I of Terbanggi Besar Village by combing all residents’ houses and public facilities such as places of worship and schools.

This activity lasted for three consecutive days and consumed as much as 1,000 liters of disinfectant.
The spraying activity was not only carried out by a team from GGF, but was also accompanied by members of the Terbanggi Besar Koramil, Terbanggi Besar Village Apparatus, the Head of the Village, the Head of the Head of the Village, and the Head of the local RT. The Head of Internal Affairs for GGF CRD Gregoris Aris said that this activity was an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

“GGF is trying its best to prevent the spread of Covid-19, besides that, fogging is also carried out to prevent the dengue outbreak. Of course, the community must also adopt a healthy lifestyle, and if someone is sick, they immediately go to a health clinic,” said Aris.

ERT GGF Monitors the Spread of Covid-19
