Digital literacy is the knowledge and skills to use digital media, communication tools, or networks in finding, evaluating, using, creating information, and utilizing it in a healthy, wise, intelligent, careful, precise, and law-abiding manner to foster communication and interaction. in daily life.

Instead of spending time just browsing social media, people are advised to use it to do good things. The use of time should also be maximized to support productivity in living life.

On this occasion, a discussion on digital literacy was also held with the title “Information Flood, Choosing Hoaxes, and Fake News”. The public phenomenon of simply passing on hoax news has been a study of the Kompas Research and Development survey.

According to Kompas Daily Editor-in-Chief, Sutta Dharmasaputra, based on the results of the Kompas Research and Development survey in November 2019, only 47 percent of respondents checked the veracity of information to trusted media.

“My friends in Japan, the majority (only) have email. This is different from us, Indonesians, who use social media more,” said Gadjah Mada University Chancellor Panut Mulyono, on Friday, September 10, 2021 when opening a digital literacy discussion.

This digital literacy discussion is a collaboration between Kompas daily and Gadjah Mada University with the support of PT GGP which provides 100 compass subscriptions to Gadjah Mada University.

Based on data as of January 2021, the average Japanese person has 3.8 social media accounts. Meanwhile, Indonesians have an average of 10 social media accounts, which are listed as the top three countries with the largest social media account ownership.

“Because Indonesians tend to like the digital world, it is necessary to be educated. Education is considered important so that the community does not become a spreader of false news. Unread (content), just read the title, immediately forwarded. Even though the contents are not true,” said Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M, Eng., D. Eng.

The Ministry of Communication and Informatics also released 1,656 findings of hoax issues from January 23, 2020 to June 22, 2021. The flood of information brought many bad effects, including triggering confusion, division, and disrupting family relations.

Corporate Affairs Director of PT GGP, Mr. Welly Soegiono, said that in this online information era, people are expected to think clearly and rationally so as not to backfire.

“Our employees, universities, are expected to have critical thinking. We also consider that Kompas has the highest quality journalistic products. Therefore, we cooperate with Kompas to jointly disseminate good journalistic products for UGM,” concluded Welly Soegiono.

The provision of this Kompas.id subscription is expected to be a gateway for students to be able to improve digital literacy. This step is taken to create a nation’s successor who is capable of literacy so that there will be no more spread of false news. This activity is also expected to be a forum for students to fill their spare time with positive and useful activities.

The ceremonial handover of the AEO certificate was attended by the West Sumatra Regional Customs Office (Sumbagbar) and the management of PT GGP, the AEO certificate was handed over on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the GGP guest house building. The certificate was handed over directly by the Head of Customs Supervision and Customs Service Office Type B Bandar Lampung, Mrs. Erti Wiyandari to Mr. Welly Sugiono, Corporate Affairs Director of PT GGP.

The submission of an AEO certificate by the Central AEO Team from the Technical Directorate to the Board of Directors is one of the requirements that must be determined. The agenda has implemented a number of strict Covid-19 health protocols.

Esti Wiyandari said that what should be underlined regarding the submission of the AEO certificate is the subsequent process which is no less important. There are several points that will be carried out, including those related to monitoring and evaluation as well as how to maintain and improve the 13 criteria that are the requirements of the AEO.

As the Head of the Customs Supervisory and Excise Service Office for Intermediate Customs B Bandar Lampung, Esti Wiyandari said that by obtaining the AEO certificate, it was hoped that PT GGP would get various customs facilities, one of which was the company’s benefits. As it is known that one of the functions of Customs and Excise is to facilitate business actors in their working areas, both fiscal and procedural facilities, and AEO is included in the category of procedural facilities.

The procedures facilitated by Customs and Excise with the issuance of this certificate are several conveniences for document research, priority simplification of procedures, ease of periodic payments, and special services by the Clean Manager (CM).
“Once PT GGP is approved by the AEO, Customs and Excise immediately appoints the CM who will be the head to head customs service event, PT GGP can conduct any consultation with the appointed CM,” said Esti Wiyandri.

With PT GGP’s good profile so far in internal Customs and the cooperation that has been established, PT GGP hopes to always apply good discipline and according to the time set in carrying out its activities.

“Hopefully, having the AEO certificate won’t let us down. So far, related to certification, when PT GGP will export there are at least 19 supporting certifications as requirements, this is what PT GPP does and we consider it a challenge, “said Welly Sugiono Corporate Affairs Director of PT GGP.

Mr. Welly Sugiono said that until now PT GGP was able to grow well because PT GGP grew together with the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. If you think back to the past years in the 1980s, exporting was not easy because you had to bring containers to Jakarta, but now everything has changed and the facilities are developing along with the developments made by Customs and Excise.

“It can be said that PT GGP can grow big because it fights with Customs and Excise. For every problem experienced by PT GGP, Customs always responded well and finally PT GGP was able to export. Lampung, especially Indonesia, has the status as the largest pineapple supplier in the world. This is inseparable from the good cooperation so far,” said Welly Sugiono.

Closing Mr. Welly Sugiono’s remarks, PT GGP is grateful for the good support so far given by Customs and Excise, hopefully this collaboration can be an example in other places.

Jembrana’s vice regent visits the garden Cavendish banana

Jembrana (wabup) jembrana, I big ngurah patriana krisna, paid a visit to the cavendish farm in the village of pekutatan, the district of pekbrana on Saturday, August 21, 2021. During the visit, patriana krisna was accompanied by a camat I wayan yudana to see directly the cavendish plant being run by fresh, permanent nusantara (nsa) on the Bali provincial government’s property.

The visit was made in addition to viewing the cavendish plant directly on 50 hectares of Bali province, and wabup patriana Krishna saw where the process, the banana packing, was ready to be distributed to the public. He said the rupiah was expected to continue to strengthen to rp9,100 per dollar in the Jakarta interbank spot market on Tuesday.

The price of rice in the first half of 2007 fell to us $58.3 billion from the same period last year. “I think the jembrana district, its potential to be enormous, its existing market needs have not met its banana production demand,” says wabup patriana krisna.

After a visit and a direct look at the place and processing of the cavendish banana, wabup patriana krisna, based on the regulatory management of the shell, asked for a partnership with the local farmers. The hope of these good opportunities can continue to be developed and bring income to farmers in jembrana.

“Thus, the potential for once to be developed, may even form co-operation with local farmers so that the existing market potential can be met,” he added.

Pt the nsa is a subsidiary of the great giant pineapple (GGP), partnering with local farmers is not a foreign matter. Pt adhi karya would buy two new shares of pt bank mega TBK at the Jakarta stock exchange JSX. Given the market needs, certainly partnering with local farmers is a good opportunity to maximize production. The rupiah rose to rp9,100 per dollar in the Jakarta interbank spot market on Monday as investors bought the local unit on Wednesday.

The market demand was low, so with the great potential and opportunity of local farmers helping to develop the cavendish banana orchard farm. Especially at this time of the pandemic and agriculture is one of the solutions to re-power the economic wheel.

In the first semester of this year, the company’s net profit in the first semester of this year increased to rp2.1 trillion from rp1.9 trillion in the same period last year. In turn, when the harvest returns, it can be done monthly, even weekly. According to mercy, a weekly harvest can yield approximately 16 tons or 1200 boxes, “he added.

He said the rupiah was expected to strengthen to rp 9,100 per dollar in the Jakarta interbank spot market on Tuesday. This was done to shore up the market needs of cavendish bananas. Additionally, innovations are also being made to impact communities in general.

Market production and meeting needs are indeed the principal things that have been sustained. But, on the other hand, as a company certainly has the responsibility to influence people for good by rendering values that benefit both sides.

Re.juve Holds Webinar The Danger of Wrong Intake During a Pandemic and Isoman

Consumption of vegetables and fruit every day is very good for health. However, many people consume it with added sugar or sweeteners, making it a high-calorie, fattening drink. According to the nutritionist, Dr. Juwalita Surapsari, M.Gizi., SpGK, there are no guidelines that specifically mention limits for daily consumption of vegetable and fruit juices.

The thing that needs to be a concern is that the juice content can meet daily nutritional needs or not. Make sure that the juice is only an alternative to meet our daily intake of vegetables and fruit.

“Alternative means that fresh food that we consume directly should not be abandoned, it is still eaten. It’s not just the source of the juice.” He expressed this in a webinar entitled Dangers of Wrong Intake amid a Pandemic and Independent Isolation with Rejuve, Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

Some people only consume vegetable and fruit juices to detoxify. According to Juwalita, this is allowed but is limited to a maximum of three days. Because, according to research, it is less likely that we will experience other nutritional deficiencies if we only live it for three days.

In addition, there is an assumption that consumption of vegetables and fruit in the form of juice is considered to reduce the fiber content in them. According to Juwalita, there may indeed be a loss of fiber content by processing vegetables and fruit into juice. However, not 100 percent of the fiber content is lost.

So that drinking juice can still help meet the daily intake of vegetables and fruits, we can combine several vegetables and fruits to get more benefits. Meanwhile, CEO and President Director of Re.juve, Richard Anthony, said the amount of juice consumption depends on the goals of each person.

For detoxification needs, we can consume several bottles a day to meet the needs of fiber and nutrients. During the detox period, a person does not eat other foods, so there is no need to worry about consuming too many calories. However, in a normal diet, fresh juices without sugar, such as Re.juve, can be an alternative to healthy drinks
